Choosing your cams
Small Cam Set (white, grey, red): fuel injected bikes, or carbureted bikes wanting a near stock pull. Sits between the stock Domino black and white cams.
Large Cam Set (blue, yellow, black): carbureted bikes wanting a significantly faster turn, up to 50% less pull.

Linear cams speed up the pull at a constant rate, while progressive cams start slower and ramp up deeper into the throw, giving manageable power down low and a quicker spool up top. Measured rotation numbers for every cam are in the charts for your bike type below.
Every cam explained
What each cam does, from stock feel to the shortest throw we make. You can run any of them on any bike, so treat this as a starting point.
Identical to the stock white Domino tube. The throttle feels exactly like factory, so this is your reference point before you speed anything up.
A linear cam that shortens the pull at a constant rate, 10 to 20 percent faster than stock depending on injection or carb. The simplest step up from stock feel.
A progressive cam for injection bikes. It starts slightly slower than the stock white Domino, then ramps up around a quarter of the way open. Similar total throw to the grey, but it starts slower and ramps faster, so response stays calm down low and picks up deeper in the throw.
A fast linear cam, around 30 percent faster than the stock white Domino, shortening the pull at a constant rate the whole way. A big, predictable jump in speed.
A progressive cam for carbureted bikes. It starts faster than the stock white Domino, then ramps up around a quarter of the way open. Similar total throw to the blue, but progressive rather than linear, so it eases in before it speeds up.
The superfast cam. A slight progression right at the start, then 45 to 50 percent faster than the stock white Domino. The shortest throw we make.
Injection bikes
We designed the Small Cam Sets for injection bikes (Vertigo, Sherco, Montesa), which already have a short pull. The Small sets start at stock, or just below stock on the red cam, and get faster from there. If you ride slippery conditions and want a near stock throw on a carbureted bike, the Small set is also a good option.
Carbureted bikes
The Large Cam Set is designed to significantly reduce throw on carbureted bikes. Will it make your bike more of a handful in slippery conditions? Maybe. Thanks to the progressive cams you can still get stock or even slower than stock response down low, then ramp up quickly as you open the throttle further.
Any cam, any bike
You can run any cam on any bike, but it will significantly change your throttle response, sometimes for the worse. Put a Large cam on a Sherco 300 and the throttle feels like a light switch. Put the same cam on a Sherco 125 and it makes the bike far easier to ride, since it has no bottom end anyway.
Don't like a cam? Change it. A swap takes two minutes on the trail, so experiment to find what works for you, and even switch between riding areas: faster for dry and grippy, slower for slippery. What bike do you ride? What conditions do you ride in? Do you want a shorter throw?

FAQ
What is the Dream Throttle compatible with?
The Dream Throttle is a direct replacement that fits all trials throttles, with one exception: it is not compatible with Beta 4T (4 stroke) systems.
The cam switching system and PRO STOP are only compatible with the TrialSolutions throttle tube, as part of the complete Dream Throttle system. The housing on its own is compatible with both the black and white Domino tubes, you just will not be able to switch cams or use PRO STOP without the TrialSolutions tube.
My throttle feels sticky
- Make sure the ZeroDrag bar end is installed perfectly straight. The best way is to tighten it with the handlebar vertical, so gravity does its job.
- Make sure the grip washer is installed to space the grip away from the housing. Sometimes the grip touches the housing and causes drag.
There is side to side play in the grip
Push the entire throttle and housing toward the center of the bike: loosen the housing clamp and slide everything inward until it seats, then move the housing 0.5 to 1 mm back toward the bar end so nothing rubs.
My throttle is stuck open, how do I shut the bike off?
There is no quick cover removal on these, so use a glove and cover the end of the exhaust. This is the more reliable way to stop the bike anyway.
The bike revs up after I install the throttle
You need to create some free play in the cable. Loosen the cable tension until there is a tiny amount of free play left in the cable, even with the handlebars turned.
Can I use a stock Domino throttle tube with the Dream Throttle System?
Yes, it is compatible with both the black and white Domino tubes. You will not be able to change cams or use the PRO STOP system. You can still use the throttle limiter, and the ZeroDrag kit if you run the white Domino tube.
