Master Cylinder Saver (Braktec Trials)

We all know it. You tip over, the bike takes a hit, and the master cylinder clamp cracks, you are done for the day and you are buying a whole new master cylinder.

We built the solution. The Master Cylinder Saver wraps the broken clamp and holds it back together with a proper billet clamp, giving you a working brake or clutch again at a fraction of the cost of a new perch. Fit it after the break, or fit it before, because the support tabs are designed to take the impact so the master cylinder does not.

For those who want to take preventative measures, put this on and the tabs support the master cylinder, preventing breakage. Or keep one in your bag as insurance in case your bike takes a spill.

A broken clutch or brake miles from the van usually means a long hike out. The Saver is small enough to live in your pack or fender bag, and it goes on with basic hand tools, so a broken clamp becomes a five minute repair instead of the end of the ride.

The Saver clamps around the master cylinder in place of, or over, the damaged stock clamp and torques down to the bar. Do not over tighten the clamp bolts, 4 to 6 Nm is plenty.
